Maple Apple Salad

Ingredients: 

  • 1 packet Maple Pecan Dip Mix
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 lbs. (4-5) gala apples, chopped*
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries 
  • Optional: 1/2 cup grapes, sliced

Directions:

Blend together softened cream cheese, sour cream and entire packet of Maple Pecan Dip Mix. Mix well. Refrigerate overnight or a minimum of 4 hours. Chop apples and place in a large bowl. Add prepared Maple Pecan Dip, pecans and dried cranberries to bowl with apples and stir until combined. Serve immediately. Juice from apples  dilutes dip and salad can become "watery" within 4 hours. 

*to reduce browning of apples, soak diced pieces for 1 minute un a mixture of 2 cups of cold water and 2 Tbsp, lemon juice. Drain then pat dry with paper towel. 

**You may use other types of apples we recommend mildly sweet & tart apples.
